Hany Abu Raida congratulates Pyramids on qualifying: God willing, to be crowned with the Confederation

Hany Abu Raida, a member of FIFA's executive office, was keen to congratulate Pyramids Club on qualifying for the CAF Confederation Cup semi-finals after overcoming Enyimba of Nigeria in the quarter-finals.

Hany Abu Raida wrote on his Twitter account, "Congratulations to the Pyramids Club, for ascending to the semi-finals of the African Confederation Championship for the second time in a row, and God willing, the championship will be crowned in Benin."

The Pyramids team tied with Enyimba of Nigeria with a goal for each of them in the match that brought them together at the Enyimba International Stadium in Aba city, in the second leg of the African Confederation Cup quarter-finals, and the Pyramids qualified for the semi-finals of the tournament and is waiting for the winner from Morocco's Raja and Orlando Pirates of South Africa.

Ibrahim Adil, the Pyramids player, scored the first goal for his team in the 32nd minute, and Oilya Emmanuel tied for the Nigerian team, Enyimba, in the 40th minute of the first half.

Pyramids crossed Enyimba team, with a score of 5-2 in the aggregate of the two encounters, to continue their journey in the continental championship and reach the semi-finals for the second season in a row.
