It reached 9.2 kantars per acre, and the world average ranged from 14 to 18 quintals per acre, and it can be reached through the new experiment.

Who implements the new experiment?

The Ministry of Business Sector, in coordination with several agencies, is carrying out an experiment to plant 500 acres, in addition to the Ministry of Agriculture implementing another experiment in the same place.

What is the benefit of the Egyptian economy from short staple cotton?

Importing and benefiting from local cotton will be stopped, and this will save about $3 billion annually, in addition to expanding its export.
