France officially lifts the night curfew from today

The authorities in France announced the official lifting of the night curfew set at 11:00 pm (according to the country's local time), starting today, Sunday, which was imposed to confront the outbreak of the new Corona virus (Covid-19) in the country and the increase in the number of infections and deaths.

France 24 news channel reported in its French-language publication today, Sunday, that this decision comes 3 days after the abolition of the mandatory wearing of masks in open places.

The channel added that the curfew in France was imposed since last October, and its date was brought forward and delayed more than once by the French government, noting that for the first time this year, the French can leave their homes without restrictions.

And the French Prime Minister, Jean Castex, had announced earlier that the threshold of 30 million French people had been exceeded who had received at least one dose of the anti-Covid-19 vaccine.
