Saudi Arabia announces the inauguration of a women's department at the College of the Holy Mosque in Makkah


The Saudi authorities have opened a women’s department at the College of the Holy Mosque in Makkah, according to what was reported by the account of the Presidency of the Two Holy Mosques on Twitter.


The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques said that its general president, Sheikh Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais, inaugurated the women's section in the college, which receives science students who have a secondary certificate from Saudis or who reside in the Kingdom on a regular basis.


In a statement, the presidency quoted Al-Sudais as saying that "the academic legal process in the Two Holy Mosques is distinguished by the beneficial sciences with moderate moderation, which contribute to building a promising generation of women in the field of Sharia studies."
