Somalia and Saudi Arabia are discussing arrangements to reopen the Kingdom's embassy in Mogadishu

The Permanent Secretary of the Somali Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Ambassador Mohamed Ali Nur Haji, discussed, during his meeting with a delegation from the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, headed by Counselor Abdulsalam bin Abdullah bin Rushoud Al-Anzi, the arrangements for reopening the Saudi embassy in the Somali capital Mogadishu, and transferring its services from the Kenyan capital, Nairobi.

The two sides also discussed - according to the Somali News Agency - strengthening bilateral relations and cooperation in various fields of common interest, including the political, economic, commercial, cultural and educational fields to achieve the aspirations and aspirations of the two countries.

Hajji said that Saudi Arabia represents for Somalia a great position, with which it has strong historical relations with a depth of civilization and culture, as well as a strategic partner, praising its humanitarian contributions and its honorable international positions on the side of Somalia.
