The Al-Ahly and Esperance match will be held in the var after the approval of “K” Premier League equipment


Football Association officials confirmed that the match between Al-Ahly and Tunisia’s Esperance in the second leg of the African Champions League semi-final, which is scheduled for nine in the evening today at Al-Salam Stadium, will be held by video technology, after CAF agreed to use the equipment used in the Egyptian League.


And there were reports during the past hours about the possibility of holding the match without video technology, due to the failure of mouse devices to reach Egypt, but the Football Association confirmed the approval of CAF to use the devices in Egypt that are used in the Egyptian League.


Fans of the ninth round witch are awaiting this evening, Saturday, to follow the fateful meeting that brings together Al-Ahly and Tunisia’s Esperance at Al-Ahly and Al-Salam Stadium, in the second leg of the semi-finals of the African Champions League in a meeting that the Red Genie will enter with high spirits after defeating the Tunisian champion in Rades with a goal without a response scored by Mohamed Sherif.


On the field, a difficult technical confrontation will take place between the South African Betso Musimani, the technical director of Al-Ahly Club, and the Tunisian Mouin Al-Shaabani, the technical director of Esperance, to try to kidnap the ticket to qualify for the final match of the African Champions League.


Musimani led Al-Ahly in 45 matches, winning 32, drawing 9 and losing 4 matches, his players scored 84 goals and received 31 goals, while Chaabani led Esperance in 129 matches, winning 84 matches, drawing 25 matches and losing 20 matches, his players scored 211 goals and received 112 goals.


Musimani and El Shaabani are looking for the CAF Champions League for the third time in their history, as Musimani won two Champions League titles, one with Sun Downs in 2016 and the other with Al-Ahly 2020, while El Shaabani won two championships with Esperance in 2018 and 2019.
