The Olympic team reveals the secret of Imam Ashour's inclusion in the preparation camp for the Tokyo Olympics

Officials of the Egyptian Olympic team revealed the reasons for including Imam Ashour, the Zamalek player, to the camp of the current team, as it was confirmed that he was included after the end of his suspension period by the Football Association and his participation with Zamalek Club in the last match against El Gouna in the Premier League, and therefore it was decided to summon him.

Olympic team officials revealed that if Imam Ashour was still suspended while the team’s list was announced, he would have been excluded from the current camp.

The Disciplinary Committee had announced the suspension of Imam Ashour 12 matches after the crisis of the summit match between Al-Ahly and Zamalek, born in 99, while the Grievance Committee refused to reduce the penalty.

Today, Wednesday, the Egyptian Olympic team camp begins in preparation for the 2021 Tokyo Olympics, scheduled for next July, provided that the camp will be open for 48 hours, and the team will enter a closed camp on Saturday.
