Learn about the Security Council's work program for this week

The United Nations Security Council is discussing this week a number of issues, including the situation in the Middle East and its follow-up to the situation in Haiti after the assassination of the head of state

Where the members of the Security Council will hold an open briefing on the situation in Colombia tomorrow, Tuesday, and next Wednesday, the members of the Council will hold a vote on a draft resolution renewing the mandate of the United Nations Mission to Support the Hudaydah Agreement (UNMHA).

 On Thursday, Council members will hold a ministerial-level briefing on Libya, and a meeting will be held with the troop-contributing countries to the United Nations and the peacekeeping force in Cyprus (UNFICYP).


 This week, Council members are closely following developments in Haiti following the assassination of Haitian President Jovenel Moise.
