The Prime Minister of Thailand enters self-isolation after contact with a person infected with Corona

Today, Monday, the Thai government announced that Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha has entered self-isolation after coming into contact with a person who tested positive for the emerging coronavirus (Covid-19).

"I would like to assure that the Prime Minister will continue to work as usual and closely monitor the situation," the Singaporean channel "Channel News Asia" radio quoted Thai government spokesman, Anocha Purapachisri, as saying, noting that the result of the Corona virus test he conducted was negative.

According to local media reports, the Prime Minister left the Government House this afternoon to work from home, after meeting with a diplomat from Myanmar.
