The regular session of the Council of Arab Communications Ministers will be held on Tuesday


The Executive Office of the Council of Arab Ministers for Communications and Information will hold its regular session remotely, tomorrow, Tuesday, in Egypt.

 

He will discuss several topics, the most important of which is the results of the 39th meeting of the Arab Postal Committee, which was held in Sharm El-Sheikh last June.

 

The meeting deals with the report and recommendations of the meetings of the Arab postal working groups, the draft agreement on the exchange of customs data between Arab countries, Arab nominations for membership in the Board of Directors and Investment in the Universal Postal Union and nominations for the positions of the Director General of the Universal Postal Union and his deputy, and the nomination of the Arab Republic of Egypt for the position of Secretary-General of the Pan African Postal Union, follow-up Implementation of the regional development plan for the Arab region and finally the issues related to Palestine.

 

It also discusses the results of the 47th meeting of the Arab Standing Committee for Communications and Information, the most important of which are the results of the meetings of the working groups of the Standing Arab Committee for Communications and Information, and joint Arab cooperation with other regional groups and organizations in the field of communications and information technology such as Arab-Chinese and Russian cooperation, the regional conference on opportunities and challenges of modern cybersecurity The Digital Economy Symposium, the Arab Internet Governance Initiative in the Arab region, the preparation for the World Telecommunication Development Conference, the results of the meeting of the International Telecommunication Union Council, and finally the Arab Digital Capital Initiative.
