Turkish newspaper: Ramadan Sobhi is approaching Galatasaray, and a salary of 2.2 million euros is the only obstacle

Today, Saturday, Turkish press reports revealed advanced negotiations between the Turkish Galatasaray Club and the Egyptian international Ramadan Sobhi, the wing of the Pyramids Club, to obtain his services in the summer Mercato.

The name of Ramadan Sobhi was associated a few days ago with joining the battalion of coach Fateh Tarim, and his compatriot Mustafa Mohamed, who moved last January on loan from Zamalek.

According to the Turkish newspaper, "Fanatik", the player's agents were nominated to Galatasaray officials in order to strengthen the left wing position after the departure of Henry Onyekoro, and not to activate the eligibility clause from Monaco.

The newspaper added, that there is approval by Ramadan Sobhi to move to Galatasaray because he wants to return to Europe again after leaving the English Premier League and Huddersfield Town in favor of Al-Ahly, and then Pyramids in the Egyptian League.

The newspaper confirmed that the only obstacle for Galatasaray to include Ramadan Sobhi is his large annual salary with Pyramids, which amounts to 2.2 million euros.

And “Fanatic” explained that the Galatasaray administration only provides an annual salary of 1.5 million euros and other bonuses according to his performance in matches with the team, while Ramadan Sobhi wants to leave Pyramids and will not cause any problems for the Turkish club.

And previous Turkish press reports revealed that Ramadan Sobhi had asked, through his agent, to offer him to the Turkish Galatasaray ranks, in preparation for joining him from the new season after ending his participation in the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.

And the Turkish newspaper “takvim” said that Galatasaray received a surprising offer from one of the players’ agents to nominate Ramadan Sobhi, who wants to take a European adventure through the Galatasaray team.

The newspaper pointed out that the current market value of Ramadan Sobhi for the player is 3 million euros, in addition to being one of the main elements in the first Egyptian and Olympic team that is preparing for the Tokyo Olympics.
